Here is the latest plan for a reunion this August... We have 3 two bedroom units (each sleeps 6) booked at Worldmark in Midway, Utah for Aug 4th - 11th (check out on 11th). That is 7 nights of fun together! We will stay somewhere for 2 more nights so we can attend Angie's graduation, then take off for Oregon on the 14th. Anyone see a theme going on? We start on Doug and Emily's anniversary, end on Nikki and Jason's, and head home on Angie and Brandon's! It just worked out that way, but maybe it should be our theme... you can submit any suggestions and we can vote on just the right name. Dad and I are flying in on the 4th. Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Janet (and slight chance of Uncle Allen) are also planning to join us. Dad and I will be driving one of Brandon and Angela's vehicles home and Grandma and Grandpa will fly to Oregon on the 14th and arrive ahead of us. There is some flexibility in the dates in Midway. Should we start on the 6th and end on the 13th and go straight to graduation? That would mean Nikki and Jason and family would probably miss the last 2 days, as they have to be home by the 16th and want 4 days to make the drive. I will be awaiting everyone's input. Doug and Emily don't know yet about their summer plans, so be praying it will work out for them to come. Hey, Anne, maybe we can call this location the real "honeymoon suite"... I don't think there are any box elder bugs in Utah that time of year!

Our family probably couldn't stay for the full week, since my family is also planning to do a reunion around that time and we're not sure how much time Russ will be comfortable taking off.
How about "The Anniversary Bash"? Seems only fitting since Russ & Anne are the only siblings not represented in the actual anniversary happenings and they met at a "bash", if I remember correctly.
We're so excited! We should all email Uncle Allen once every couple weeks with a picture of sad grandkids saying "This is what your nieces and nephew will look like if you don't come to our reunion."
Janet and Allen still have dial-up internet, so they might curse you if you email pictures, because it takes about three years for anything that large to download. :) Hopefully he'll decide to join us though!
I knew about the dial up, but I was hoping I could think of something. We miss him.
At least Midway is MUCH closer to our other families on Anne's and Jason's side than Wolf Creek so if either of us can't stay the whole time it won't be too hard to travel between them. Thanks for moving it closer mom!
