Neurology Notes

I just got a copy of the neurologist's report from Brenna's last visit (September 3rd). I thought some of you might be interested to read it. (You'll probably have to enlarge the image to read it easily.)

This is an encouraging report. It indicates that Brenna's current condition can be addressed with therapy, and that the doctor is confident in Anne's ability to manage Brenna's development in a very conscientious manner.

Thanks for sharing this, Anne. I very much appreciate being able to read this report, as it gives me a much better feel for the doctor's prognosis. I am encouraged that combining therapy with our prayers will enable little Brenna to be just fine.

And if anyone was wondering, "OKN" is optokinetic nystagmus. It is the eye movement elicited by the tracking of a moving field. It differs from smooth pursuit which is the eye movement elicited by tracking of a single distinct target. (just a little description I remember reading years ago in pre-med ;-)

Thanks, Anne, for posting this. It makes me feel better informed and even involved. Brenna couldn't be in better hands!
