Last night, to celebrate Elise's three-week birthday, she got another bath! Lest you be fooled, she doesn't actually like baths. Too bad.
Her hair is curly when wet. And if I let it dry like this it remains crazy.I cannot believe that I have been a mom for 3 weeks already, and that she has been in our lives for 3 weeks. A week ago I couldn't believe that it had already been that long, but now it seems like it's been longer. It's a natural role for me, it feels very right, which makes me happy. She makes me happy. She is so darling.
We're struggling with milk supply, so she wasn't gaining weight for a bit there. We've been formula supplementing while I get my supply up; she gained a pound in the last week! She has plenty of smiling sessions. I'll get a picture of that up soon.

She is getting cuter and cuter! Please send pictures so I can share them with Janet and Grandma and Grandpa. I look forward to getting together when I get back.
Not exactly sure in what ways, but I can totally see both Angie and Brandon in Elise! So cute!
