Bekah's Latest News

Bekah gave her first talk in primary on Sunday! It was hard not to cry when I was up there helping her with it. The theme this year is "I am a Child of God" and she wanted to talk about Christ's visit to the Nephites and how He blessed the children. She wasn't nervous at all and was so excited to finally get the chance to sit up in the front and use the microphone. She is also SO excited she's in CTR5 now.

On Saturday night I got tired of too many tangles in Bekah's hair despite lots of conditioner, so I chopped it off to her shoulders. She was a good sport and it actually went really well...I think it's about the only cut I can do for a girl but it was fun to experiment. We'll upload a picture soon to the picture website.

Bekah's first year of preschool has been so good for her (ends in April) we decided to try to enroll her in the summer pre-kindgergarten class from late-June to early-August. We think this will help her when the baby arrives since she'll be on a schedule that's familiar to her, have friends to play with, and keep her from getting bored. We'll find out by May 1st if she's accepted for that class.

Jason and Bekah like to make count-down chains for holidays and last night they made one for the baby--one chain for each day left until July 25th. It's quite long, but it's fun to look at. We have lots of things we're waiting for this year!
